“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them everything I have commanded you.“ Matthew 28:19-20
Reaching the lost is one of the key functions of the church. This is very much on our hearts and minds and part of the vision of the church. Dining room evangelism, street evangelism, one on one contact and evangelical meetings are all part of what we do to reach out to people.
But we are constantly exploring new ways to make contact with people and to reach society. New methods of communicating are being developed all the time and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we want to remain open to new strategies to bring the gospel to our city and to the nations.
If you would like to be involved in this service or have any questions, please get in touch with us.
“Religion that God our father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows.“ James 1:27
We currently support a number of different mission works in various parts of the world.
We support the project Hlanganani Orphans Care in Diepsloot, Johannesburg, South Africa. The Hlanganani project seeks to help in particular AIDS orphans and widows and enables and trains the community to care for each other. Bonnie Wiggil and a team of people work into the needy area of Diepsloot, previously a shanty town squatter camp, now developing into a city. The establishment and development of financially viable children creches are part of the project. For more information and contact: www.hlanganani.org
